What is Items with Variants?
Items with Variants is the easiest way to create an item with variants for Clover. Instead of entering it manually at the register, Items with Variants allows you to create the items from the web. Unlike on the register, each varaint is able to have its own price, cost, sku and item code or all variants can share the same values.
Getting Started with Items with Variants
A step by step guide for using the Items with Variants App
- Download the Items with Variants app from the Clover app market.
- Use the Items with Variants to set the base settings for the item such as name, price, sku, and item code
- Create variants (ex. size, color) and then options for those varaints (small, medium). Each possible combination will have its own item in Clover
- Edit individual items as needed from the Items with Varaints app
- Submit to create the items
- That's it! Enjoy!

Can I create the Item with Variants for all of my locations at once?
Yes! This application is built in conjunction with Mission Control in part to allow you to create items for multiple locaitons.
How much does this application cost?
The application is free if you have Mission Control downloaded, otherwise it is $3.99/month. That application does carry an additional cost depending on the number of locations your business has.
Is there a limit to the number of variants we can create?
Nope! As many as you would like to make.
